The Huskie Road Crew is an elite group of Northern Illinois University football fans.  We travel to away games, all of them if possible, to support our Huskies.  Our motto: “Every Game, Home and Away!”

At home games the Road Crew can always be found in the east tailgate lot outside Huskie Stadium with the original Huskie Mobile (a 1989 GMC cargo van with collapsible roof deck) and the Dog Pound (a ’71 Winnebago).

But we really come to life on the road.  Use this web site to follow us around the country in the Huskie Sprinter (2008 Dodge Sprinter) during the best 13 weeks of the year.

We’ll post the team schedule, travel dates, hotel location, and tailgate location as well as any pre or post game get-togethers planned.  By doing so we hope to help organize our fellow Huskie fans traveling outside DeKalb, make new friends with our rival fans, and expand the Huskie fan base.

Look for the Huskie Sprinter under the NIU flag 20ft above.  We expect to be in or near lot C2.  We’re told C2 is mostly students and the epicenter of the party crowd.  Click the parking map for a full size version.

After the game, and the following victory celebration, we’re crashing at the GrandStay residential suites just a mile from the stadium.
